The Palestine Green Building Council delivered two awareness lectures for students of the (Eco Interior Design) program at the Arab American University |Al-Rihan. The lectures covered global green building rating systems such as LEED and EDGE, and reviewed retrofit procedures and environmental standards applied in buildings.

The lectures also included discussions on retrofit projects implemented by the Council within its initiatives and presented the standards applied in the Palestinian Museum as a practical case, which achieved the LEED Gold certification. The Council highlighted its role in supervising the project and implementing best environmental practices, providing students with an opportunity to learn from a practical green building experience in Palestine.

The Council emphasized that these initiatives are part of its ongoing efforts to promote the concept of green buildings and apply best environmental practices in Palestine, contributing to the development of a sustainable and environmentally friendly urban environment.
